Christian your right thy it won't run many apps. But it wil run most that you need. Why would the iPhone 3gs be so laggy? That makes no sense it's just an old phone. Just because it's an old phone means it lags? Did it lag when it first came out? Why would it lag now? I have one of the first iPods works perfectly fine doesn't lag or anything? The iPhone 3gs has the best looks for an iPhone.

The 3GS is VERY VERY outdated, I would choose the 5S anyday.

Apple has not made the 3GS in years… Buy a new and modern phone, like the iPhone 5S.
Only even consider the 3GS if you're that desperate on money. It will run hardly any apps anymore, will be the laggiest and most annoying, irritating experience you will ever have pretty much.
I miss the 3gs… Just get the 6 already.
