Which is a better material for a case?
Hi, I'm getting the new iphone and considering the price I want to give it plenty of protection
Which case is the better at absorbing impact force and energy and preventing damage?
A hard Durable plastic case? Or a Silicone gel Case?
If you drop something on a hard concrete floor it develops about 3000 G's. Bare wire bonds in IC packages can get broken with those forces, to say nothing of plastic and glass. Resilient rubber spreads that sharp shock impulse over a few milliseconds, which reduces the G forces greatly. Hard plastic just transmits it into the innards, but it's stronger. The ideal would be a combination rubber outside, hard plastic inside. But the case is already pretty strong, so I'd go with the silicone outside.
- Would it be bad to make a list of the material things I want? So I have a lot of things I want eg. New pencils, a dress, an iPhone etc. And I often forget what I want when people ask me. So… Would it be bad fr me to make a list and put it on my wall? Is this going to make me spend half my bank account or something?
- Which is better the Iphone 5s or the 5c i'm trying to decide which one is better? And what's the difference between these two phones can someone tell me please? I'm trying to decide which one to buy?
- Which iphone case is better? Lifeproof OR otterbox armor? I want it to be water proof, drop/crush proof, dust, and cold/snow. I really want it to be thin-ish and water proof. ALSO which one can go deeper in water and take a longer fall
- Which 3D printing material should I use for an impact resistant iPhone case? I hate Otterbox cases because they expose the area on the back where the Apple logo is. I will instead engrave the Apple logo into the case and paint it shiny silver after it was printed
