Which is a better phone Iphone 5 or Galaxy s4?

In about 3 day's i'm heading to best buy to get a new phone. But which one should I get the Iphone 5 or the galaxy s4? I'm going to be taking pictures and be on the internet alot (facebook, twitter ect) I would like to listen to music also which will be alot too I just have no idea in which ones faster and better please help thanks (Plus i was just going to go with the iphone 5 without thinking of the galaxy s4 because the iphone is just so freaking popular)

I would definitely say get the Galaxy s4. The Iphone 5 rivaled the Galaxy s3 and their specs were about the same but now that the Galaxy s4 has come out I would go that direction. The galaxy s4 is almost twice as fast as the Galaxy s3 and Iphone 5 so that in itself is a reason to buy it. Another reason is that you said you would be taking a lot of pictures. The Galasy s4 packs a 13 megapixel camera with a 5 inch 1080p display meaning that it is not only great for taking pictures but also wonderful for viewing them. You can also take pictures with the front and rear facing cameras on at the same time for kind of a cool affect.

The Samsung GS4 has the option to replace the battery, should you run out in the middle of the day and have no outlet to plug into, you could have that secondary battery ready to go. Lots of music means lots of storage usage means your processor will be running to keep things loaded, meaning that battery will die faster, but if you have an external SD card, load the music on it, pop it in when you need it, take it out when you don't. Those are just 2 small selling points to the GS4 that I personally really like. The iPhone's are able to continue OS version updates, where as some Android device platforms are only able to get maybe 2-3 OS updates before software developers move on to another big and best device. However, there's the option to try and get your android device updated to the latest updates with 3rd party software, but it's semi-advanced things, many retail stores advise against it, it could void your warranty, yada yada. There's a bigger screen with the GS4, there's more camera to the GS4, there's higher resolution with the GS4 and more other technical features with the GS4, but if everyone else around you has an iPhone, it might be more practical to get the iPhone 5 should you run into low battery, since its more likely they'll help you out in an emergency. But if we're going practical, don't go with a brand new device, wait until the next big thing comes out next year and get one of these on the cheap!
