Some of the "advantages" Markus has posted are irrelevant. I'm not sure what "best security" is for Apple, since Apple hisn't hard to hack.
Although the stuff he listed isn't on Android, Android has other things that are equivalent if not better.

With Siri, there's Voice Action on Google or Iris. Those are just 2 of many you can get.

For Facetime, there's Fringe. It does more than Facetime.

Fingerprint access… I don't even know if anyone cares about that. It is also something you can already download on the android market. Probably doesn't work as well as Apple's, but its there.

Apple does have more games if you're looking to play a lot of mobile games, but Sony has Play App which is fairly new. In the future you will be able to to launch Playstation network on it for remote play and to play PSN games. PSN and Xboxlive games are going to be much a much bigger market for Indie games than Apple currently is as most Indie developers are leaning towards the console market and steam more and more each day.

Z1 has the superior camera at the moment. The imaging sensor on the Iphone 5s is developed by Sony and is smaller than the one in the Z1. As far as software for it goes, the Z1's isn't that good when using Play Memories, but there are alternatives for it. Z1 has a much faster burst mode that will allow you to shoot images before you even press the button. It also have video hosting that allows you to do live feeds on facebook etc.

How about under water shooting? You can that with the Z1.

Z1 has FM radio, the rest of the features he mentioned are something I never paid attention to.

ABOVE are just software comparisons.

Spec wise, the Z1 is superior. I don't want to make you read an essay, so you can compare the specs yourself by googling it.

I would choose Xperia Z1.
