Which is better, the iphone 3 or the ipod touch 5th gen?
I have a choice of gettin either of the two
But i can get the iphone for only $40
But it only works as an ipod… Which should i get?

I would go with the iPod touch 5th gen because if what you're saying is that you have the iPhone 3G, then its pretty outdated by now. Just go with the iTouch

I have both! The ipod 5th is probably better for quality, camera, and lots of stuff! But the iphone 3 dosent have a flash, front camera, hd picture, and lots of stuff so get the ipod 5th gen
Get the iPod because the iPhone 3 is outdated and you can't download most apps.
I suggest the ipod if you want it to last, It has a A5 clip which means it can run apps perfectly smooth, It's a suggestion though, you might want the iphone 3 if your only going to play music or run a couple of apps (since now more than half of the apps in the app store run with a A5 clip and ios 4.3 (either go cheap to get cheap or go rich to get rich sounded chessy but yeah hope this helps)
