Well the iPhone 5 in general has many problems with it as it is right now with software and technical issues, and the same with the iPhone 5c except it's made with cheap plastic and if you're planning on not dropping it at all and could break easily. Now I don't know much about the Nexus, but I do hear it's a good phone, and it's a smartphone I believe, which is good. The only thing is you might have to take out the battery once or twice a week, but that's about it. So I would go with the Nexus, because it might be better.

Is the Nexus 5 even out yet? I would never consider buying a phone that hadn't been out for at least a few months. You never know what flaw will crop up - one that you might have been warned of by existing owners… Had you not been one of the first to buy one.
