Which phone should i buy? Iphone or Galaxy?

I have had the iphone 4 8g ever since it came out and now it's time for an upgrade. I was wondering which phone was better between the:

Iphone 5s 16g

Samsung galaxy note 3

Samsung galaxy mega 6.3

Also could you get a reason as to why?

5S is the best phone on the market (only 64 bit phone also). You can also now trade in your phone so at least you get something back for it.

IPhone= easier too use with one hand
SG mega= a tablet mixed with a phone
SG note= S pen

Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Android can simply do more than iOS like customizable home screens, live wallpapers, more apps, etc. Also, the Note 3 has a very fast Snapdragon 800 processor, an Arduino 330 gpu, and is the only phone to boast 3gb of RAM (if you do not understand this, that just means that it is very fast.) Also, you get an added bonus of an S Pen. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is underpowered and too big and the iPhone 5S is too simple and can pretty much just run apps; that's it.

Instead of telling you which phone is better, I think it would be better if you decide.

I think it would be well worth your time to read it. If you have decided in buying an iPhone, then you don't need to read the reviews for hardware.

Now onto the specs (I will give you my opinion and advice on these):

Overall, The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is superior over the hardware that comes with the Apple Iphone 5s. Here are a few things I'd like to point out:
The RAM in the Note is 3072MB, which is a very considerable amount, if you don't really know what RAM is, the most basic statement I can give you is: The more RAM you have, the faster your phone. The processor is also a key factor in how fast your phone can be, and in this case the Galaxy Note is fairly higher in speed than the Iphone, so that means your phone will be more responsive. However, the downside to the fast processor speed is: Your battery life suffers a bit, but since the Galaxy Note is larger, they increased the size of the battery; so the difference in battery life shouldn't be all that bad. One thing I would definitely like to point out is: The Apple Store has more than the Google Play store. This statement is incorrect now, Google Play has more apps than the Apple Store (Ref: #1 in sources).

Comments: Don't buy the SAMSUNG Galaxy Mega 6.3.

It is a little cheaper than the Galaxy Note 3, but the hardware on the SAMSUNG Galaxy Mega 6.3 is cheap. Personally, if you want to buy it, it's fine but I wouldn't even think about it.

I just provided this for overall completeness of this answer, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 isn't all that great compared to the iPhone, the Galaxy mega may be a little bit better, but for the extra 200 dollars I'd just buy the Note 3 and get the best.

*Note: I hope that throughout this whole answer that you can see that I'm not biased towards Apple at all(Cough).

IPhone 5S.

Better built, better support, better resale.

Specs are meaningless, benchmark tests have long proved that Apple products can hold their own against 'superior' spec'd phones and Apple is almost universally smoother and more stable.

Square Trade insurance ranks the iPhone 5S less breakable than the Samsung Galaxy S4.

The Note 3 and Mega are too big to be phones and too small to be tablets.

Between the iphone 5s and the Note 3, Id have to go with the Note 3. You can see a comparison here

Sony Xperia Z1 is the best one right now, please don't buy Samsung Galaxy models, also iPhone5s is nothing but a fancy gadget.
