Which protective iPhone 4 case should I get?

I heard good reviews and bad ones but maybe someone on here can give me advice on which one to get. If you think there's a better one out there then tell me please.

Otterbox definitely. I have it on my Samsung S3 and iPod touch and both are great cases (though I recently smashed my otterbox case on the S3 in a construction site accident. Phone still every well protected and promptly got another one)

  • Your opinion: Best protective case for an iPhone? It seems the Otterbox is the most go-to brand but does a Griffin case do just as well? What other brands work? I'm new to the iPhone world and I don't really want to drop and damage an expensive phone.

Also, with silicone cases, do they ever come off your phone when you're taking it out of your pocket? I had a Belkin one for my iPod Touch and it did that, wondering if iPhone cases do that too.
