Which type of tablet should I get?

I'm going to save up my money. I can't decide what tho. Its between iPad, Acer Laptop, or a microsoft surface tablet. The surface is more for school stuff, and thats okay because i already have a iphone and ipod for apple apps. My current laptop has a bunch of problems, but i really only use it to listen to music now. I'm trying to narrow everything down. Please give your opinions on the items

If I were buying a tablet I'd go for an Android-powered device-in particular, the Nexus 7 or the Nexus 10, depending on the size you want. IMO the Surface is over-priced, and it's pretty bulky… It's more like a touchscreen laptop than a tablet. The Nexus is a true tablet and the Google Play store has just as many apps on it as the Apple App Store these days.

Depends on what for and what you mind.

If you already bought apps those apps may or may not be compatible with the iPad.
the iPad also doesn't have a usb slot.

However I although I don't have an iPad, I can say that I had previous good experiences with their battery life. And just holding it you know it is a pretty sturdy solid piece of hardware. The size is fair and you can buy a keyboard and a stand.

The Surface tablet is 0.5lbs heavier.
However, it has a USB port.
It also acts like a regular desktop computer. With a touch screen mouse.
Caution though: because the red, pink, etc.touch keyboards sucks balls.
However, the tablet operating system also sucks balls in my opinion and they might not have as big an app selection as Apple's (whose app store has been out long enough).

I don't know about accer laptops. There's a lot out there.
The Idea pad Yoga is pretty big out there though. Get one if you want to outright replace your laptop. It's cool. It's bulky though, but it acts like a tablet. If you fold the screen back you can watch your movies as though it was a T. V. Screen and you can display things well in group projects.

Acer's pretty good price wise, but they are your standard everyday laptops like HPs and have had problems with overheating. They last a very long time though so they'll be reliable. Get this to out right replace your laptop and get a cheap tablet.

Acer tablet's however: don't get it. They are cheap sure., but they are thick, heavy, don't take good photos, and could be brighter. According to CNET reviews.

I would go with the surface tablet because it seems most versatile even as a tablet and mini pc. You can get use to microsoft's operating system though microsoft I know was famous for crashing. If you use a pc you'll get used to another one. Also, get the type cover not the touch cover.

  • Which tablet should I ask for? So Christmas is coming and I really want a tablet but I don't know which one to ask for. I already have an iphone 5s so I don't need like a big phone. I would bring it with me all the time so it needs to be pretty portable but I don't really need something the size of a normal ipad. Any ideas?
  • What type of IPhone should I get? - 1 Hi, I'm getting an IPhone in September and I kind of want to know what one I should get. I was leaning towards the 4S because the 5 was so expensive. So if you could tell me which one you think would be good or is the better deal please respond.
  • What type of iPhone case should I get? I want a felxible one which has nice grip and feels good to hold, not the hard ones. And I don't want the Otterbox ones either. But which ones give it the most protection? Are the ones which I want reliable enought to protect the phone?
  • What type of case should I get for my iPhone 6? I have had an Otterbox Commuter on my iPhone 5 for over 2 years now and it is still in decent condition. Now that it is time for my upgrade, I'm looking for a nice case for my new iPhone 6. I assumed that I would just get another Commuter case but I have read some pretty bad reviews about the fit. I'm considering the Otterbox Commuter, Otterbox Symmetry, and the Speck case. Which of these would be the best protection/fit on an iPhone 6 with the use of a screen protector as well.
