Which Verizon Data Plan Should I Go With?

I don't know which data plan to go with. This will be my first time owning a phone and I want to get the iPhone 5. I'm not constantly on the internet, but I don't know how much that will change when I get the phone. Can Anyone give me like specifics on which one I should go with?

  • Which Verizon plan is the cheapest for the Iphone 5? I'm getting the Iphone 5, and I want to know which plan is the cheapest. I don't really use that much of either talk, text, or data. So the cheapest plan is ok to me. How much would the cheapest plan cost monthly?
  • Which data plan should I get? ATT iPhone? I'm going somewhere for 3 weeks and I need to upgrade my data plan because I'll be using Turn by turn directions ALOT! I currently have 300 MB (lowest) of data each month. The next few upgrades are 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 6 GB, 8 GB, etc. I'll be needing to use the internet more, emails, google, and using maps with Siri. Anyone have any information?

Does it use up data to have multiple internet browsers open even though I only look at one at a time? Is it possible to use up data when the phone is off? Also, is taking a picture, playing app games, listening to music, and siri considered to be "data" on the data plan? Is there an overall explanation for what a data plan is?
