Which would be better to upgrade to The Iphone 4 or Nokia Lumia 822?
Reason I ask this is the Apple App store has Way more apps that I can't obtain on the Windows app store such as Instagram and Pinger. But the Iphone 4's cameras are 5.0 mega-pixel (Back) VGA (Front) and its only 3G. Where as the Nokia lumia is 4G its cameras are 8.0 mega-pixel (Back) 1.2 (Front). Please advise
IPhone all the way. You will be left out in the cold by Nokia with some gay apps that no one uses.
I'd select the Nokia Lumia 822, for the following reasons:
1. Bigger, brighter screen (with stronger glass) that reduces glare from the sun. The phone is made out of really durable polycarbonate - so you get the best antenna reception; and Verizon's 4G LTE data speeds. You get 16GB (double the amount) of storage to save your stuff. It also comes in white, black and red
2. Better cameras: 8MP rear-facing with flash and the best optics, and a 1.3MP camera front-facing.
3. Best maps: Nokia Maps allow for completely free, voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation. The 822 also has the entire map of the USA installed on it, so you can navigate completely offline.
4. Nokia Music: completely free service which gives you unlimited music mixes. Choose the genres or artists you love the most, and listen to all the music you want (no ads, no login, no subscription). You can even keep up to four playlists offline.
5. Facebook, Twitter, Xbox, Office, Skype all built in; plus the home screen makes it really easy to keep the people, apps and information you love front and centre.
The downside is that the 822 doesn't have as many apps as the iPhone 4; but the Lumia is a better phone in every other way. Software (apps) can be improved and added after your purchase; hardware can't.
