Who has the least expensive no contract plans for iPhone?

I'm a 10+ year Apple user and I got away from the iPhone three years ago to save on the monthly service. I have been using Republic Wireless $20/ unlimited plan for a year. The service is alright, but the Motorola Defy XT is miserable and I can't take it anymore.

Id like:
iPhone 4, maybe or 4s, or possibly a 5
No contract
Least expensive options for monthly service.

I'm a tech guy so I will use google voice, kik, Face time and any other workarounds so I won't need a huge amount of minutes, text, or data. I'm just looking to avoid the stupidity of a $100+ monthly cell plan. Buying the phone upfront is no problem. I just graduated from college and have been freelancing so keeping my monthly expenses low is important to me.

Straight talk from Walmart. $45 a month. Go on their website and check it out.

Virgin mobile 35 a month unlimited txt and internet but it won't be fast

Here is what you need to do. Buy what ever phone you want on eBay (make sure it is unlocked or on T Mobile or you can unlock it yourself.) Once you get your shiny new phone, go to T Mos website and sign up for the 100 minute, unlimited text, unlimited data $30 plan (it is under the prepaid.) Next, go to Walgreens and buy the SIM kit. Set it up. If you want more minutes you can use Google Voice or Magicjack.

Sound quality is great! Best I have ever seen.

Then if you get a android tablet and say talkatone app or groove ip. For example you can call when on Wi-Fi. The groove ip lite app is "free"

also it will notify you via email if you missed a call and the android tablet will let you know
missed call then display the number.

and remember unlike a cell phone you can store over 14 messages on Google voice
download to mp3 and so on. They will stay for as long as you want i had one 8 months old and it was still in their.

I download them as a mp3 (the voice mail) and load vlc and boost the volume to 200% for example so my mom can here the voice mail using the laptop speakers.works great!

you can have a phone bill and spend $100's like their 1's or spend $0 up to you.

You can get a data-only mobile Wi-Fi access point for $20/month. Use it with Google Voice for voice, text (both UNLIMITED) and normally for data. FreedomPop is even cheaper, but I don't recommend it; the network isn't all that.

And a Page Plus plan for backup voice/text calls if you want.

Page Plus is $80 PER YEAR if you don't use it a whole lot. (Just be sure to block Data by calling customer service, so none of your $80 will be spent on Data!)
