Who has Virgin Mobile cellular plan? IPhone $30/month?

I'm buying an iPhone without getting into a contract. I was previously with AT&T. They have great service, but I've heard I can get the same plan with my iPhone for $30/month with Virgin Mobile. My concern is the quality of their service. I would like to hear the opinion of people that are with Virgin Mobile or have been in the past. Have you had problems with your service? Dropped calls? Slow internet? Or are you satisfied with their service? I'd like to hear from actual customers before I make the switch.

Virgin Mobile has rather limited coverage outside big cities, and my experience with the data is that it is really, really slow, to the point where YouTube videos simply do not work.

Customer service is almost entirely automated, with the only actual people you can reach are overseas and speak poor English. In bigger cities, dropped calls are seldom had, but in rural areas (in areas with coverage), quite a few dropped calls will be had.

I have never owned a Virgin Mobile phone myself, but my room-mate does, that and I used to work in the cell phone department at Wal-Mart, and dealt a lot with VM customers and their issues.

If you are planning on buying an iPhone 4 or 4S, and want Virgin Mobile service, you need to buy one from VM, as Virgin Mobile does not allow outside phones at present time.

That and the cheapest plan they have is $35 a month, not $30.

The $35 plan includes 300 Minutes and unlimited* texting and data.
The $45 plan includes 1200 Minutes and unlimited* texting and data.
The $35 plan includes Unlimited* Minutes and unlimited* texting and data.

Virgin Mobile phones can't roam, and are throttled after 2.5GB of data. (3.5GB with a tethering plan, which is extra)
