Why are iphone home buttons easily malfunctioned?
I mean, their home buttons are so delicate. But other devices such as samsung or other brands have durable buttons. But with iphone or ipad, you have to be careful when pushing the home button or the sleep button, otherwise, they will easily be damaged. Apple's devices are expensive but delicate. Why is this?
As far as the sleep button, you don't ever even need to press it. At night just flip the mute switch in the upper corner, it will automatically go to sleep after 3 mins or whatever you set in your settings.
I have never had an issue with any buttons on it.
I think because all of the home buttons are plastic, except the one on the Iphone 5s.
If you want to know how to lock or wake your phone without pressing the buttons, go to Settings > General > Accessibility > AssistiveTouch
its a small box with a dot in it that you can move around the screen for many things
I've been using iPhones for 5 years now & never had a problem with any of the Home buttons neither the Power button, silent switch etc.
