Why are people willing to pay so much money for an iPhone?
Why are people willing to pay so much money for an iPhone? - 1
I have no idea. I have an Android from 2013 and I'd still rather that than a new iPhone.
It is reliable
For most people, their phone is essentially their connection to the world. It's their source of news, their connection to the internet, and their main communications means. It makes sense that they would be willing to pay a lot for something that can do so much.
Could make the same argument about the Galaxy Note 8.
For precisely the same reasons that many people buy luxury cars, expensive wristwatches, ridiculously-expensive trainers, overpriced handbags, and similar objects of desire.
So that means it's because they want whatever they regard as being "the best", or because they're just bragging show-offs who think that they can impress others by the things that they own rather than by the content of their personality.
In short, because they can. An iPhone may be expensive to you, but to others it still costs what they regard as being peanuts, and to some it appears to be affordable because they have access to credit.
Because it's fast, with great OS and optimization. Brilliant camera and design
I think iPhone prices are ridiculous.
Because it has become status symbol now days thats why.
Many people have more money than good sense.
Because having an Iphone screams "hey I'm rich, notice me".
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do people still pay so much for damanged iPhones? It's funny how pathetic some people are. I sold my cracked, dented and slightly bent iPhone 6 Plus (16GB) online for roughly $600. And because of my insurance and discounts, I was able to pick up a brand new one and had extra cash on the side, which I'll put toward the next iPhone.
- Why do people pay so much more for iPhones on eBay? I was looking to buy a 32g iPhone 5 on eBay, and saw that some (that ended today) sold for about $900 (locked on AT&T)! You can buy this same phone without contract for only $650 on Apple's website. What is the meaning of this? @Mark read more carefully… You can buy them on Apple's website… This has nothing to do with supply and demand.
- Why are people still working for a living when there's so much free money out there? You're stupid if you don't take what's up for grabs. I'm with my babies daddy but we aren't married, so I can still get single mom benefits which cover our rent, clothing and food. He works 20 hours a week at Applebees and his money goes toward our iPhones, cable tv, beer, tobacco and cigarette tubes and our nights out and we live a really good life. Why work when there's so much for the taking? It's out there, and it's free.
