Why are some people so lucky?
I'm thankfull for everything i have, just so you know.
But there's always those girls, there beautiful, everyones there friends, they have lots of money, loving parents. There just perfect.
I was so happy this morning when i opened my present, i got three because we can't afford much (I got a necklace, pajamas, and a pillow). I loved them i felt so lucky.
Then i got on instagram.
Everyone was getting lots of designer jeans, shoes, shirts, purses. Tablets, laptops, new iphones. One girl had 70 presents all for her. Keep in mind, these people are only 13. That got me thinking. Why are some people so lucky?
Specifacly this one girl. Her parents love eachother and her, she is friends with everyone, she's nice (its kind of a fake nice though… ) she's rich. She has a dance scholarship waiting for her. She got over 2000$ in presents.
Really though, some people have perfect lives.
It just doesn't make sense, why is it so unfair?
Added (1). Its not just about the things they have, a lot of it is because they are loved by everyone and have great parents. No alcohol or drug problems in the family, no fighting…
They aren't lucky, they're spoiled. Consider yourself lucky for feeling happy about the gifts you got! That's a gift in itself - seeing how wonderful the little things are. Also, just because they receive a lot of materialistic things, it doesn't mean their lives are perfect. They may have family problems or deaths, or may be suffering from an illness themselves. Don't envy others' lives, love your own, and you'll be the happiest you've ever been.
Another thing, if seeing all of those things makes you envious and sad, get off of instagram.
Life is very unfair and we don't have the answers why. My mom use to tell me, "Life is 90% luck and 10% who you know." Sucks don't it?
Somethings just can't be explained, but don't let that bring you down. Life isn't always about luxurious lifestyles and materialistic things.
Learn from the people you see who seem to be better off and try to be more humble. If you had everything like that, would you truly appreciate how your parents went out their way for you?
Everyoneis lucky in their own way
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why do some people like to act like iPhones and iPads are status symbols? If it were, I mean you'd have the whole lifestyle to keep up. But a lot of people buy them. I'll admit they're both convenient but I find it a little weird to think anything of owning one. (This is in general, and not directed towards how people act to me - just my observation).
- Why do some people have to have what's cool? It seems like some people aren't happy with just the basics. They just have to have the latest iPhone, iPod, Beats headphones, designer clothes, luxury cars. Why can't people be happy with a TracFone, basic mp3 player, decent clothing, and a basic car like a Ford or Chevy?
- Why do some people have iOS 7 already? I have an iPhone 4 and so does my friend and he has iOS 7 already. Also, I know a lot of other people have it. What is the reason and when can I get it
