Why are the new iphones so expensive?

Why are the new iphones so expensive?

RIGHT?!

Because Apple are ripping people off, they cost about £230 to make one and up to £1500 to buy

Part is paying the engineers, part is materials. Not much for labor because it is imported from China, most is because people are willing to pay a lot extra for that logo of a apple with a bite out of it

Because they are an up graded version of all the other cellphones which make them cost more because they can do more things, and they have bigger screens.

Apple is not who they used to be. They are fine charging a premium for a glorified, decent camera.

Because people are willing to pay the price. Maybe not you, but lots of others are.

One of the reasons Apple charges so much is because most iPhones are made of metal, which makes it worth much more money than one made of plastic. Most people don't know this, so that's why Samsung is able to trick people into buying their plastic Galaxy S phones that are not even worth $965.99.

Because of there name and brand i Rather have a Laptop than iphone

Inflation

Part of it is that your paying for the name more than the actual device
