Why are videos on my iphone playing vertically and not horizontally?

How do I change this

You probably have portrait lock on which doesn't allow it to slide into horizontal view.

If you do not have iOS 7, simply double tap the home button for the multitasking bar to pop up, slide it to the left, and find the lock. Toggle it off and it should work. If it isn't there, you will have to go to the settings -> general -> and turn portrait lock off.

If you do have iOS 7, you can swipe up and toggle it off from there.

In the future to see if this is on or off, if it is up there's a little icon of a lock on the top right of the school. If that is there, then it is locked in the vertical alignment

So I realized that every time someone takes a video or a picture of me, I end up looking really short (though I'm already short to begin with) and my legs look very chunky and look less like they do in the mirror.
