Why can't can't I hear anything on iPhone 4s?

So everything is on in the sound option and it isn't set in vibration it's in sound also, the only method I can hear videos or anything is if I plug in the headphones how can I fix it I've tried turning it off and on already but it isn't any better.

Did you check to see if the Iphone is still registering that "Headphones" are connected even after you pull them out. If so, attempt to connect/disconnect the headphones a few times, and it will register that they have been disconnected and hopefully sound returns. If it does not, you may want to attempt a full restore/wipe of content [Master Reset] to see if the answer is resolved. If not, seek out a Warranty Replacement, as the device is covered by a 1 year warranty, as long as it has No Damage, aftermarket stickers, Liquid damage, or has been Jailbroken. I still have an iPhone 3GS and recently I have found that whenever I make a call or receive a call, I can't hear the person on the other end, but they can hear me. It doesn't work when it's on speaker or headphones either. But whenever I listen to music or sound from an app I'm hear it fine. I have tried a hard resets and I don't know what to do.
