Why Can't I Download iOS 6.0 IPSW Firmware?
So I recently got an iPhone 4 and I love it to death. I wanted to Jailbreak it so I could add somemore stuff to it, but I can't seem to get it right. I have the right version of redsn0w, I'm following the instructions properly, but I recently found out that I'm not selecting the right IPSW. I know I need iOS 6.0 (I'm running iOS 6.0.1) but everytime I try to download it (from ANYWHERE) it starts loading but doesn't download. Any ideas why?
Also, I've tried jailbreaking with jailbreakme.com, but everytime I go on with my phone it says, "Your device is not supported"
Ok, I jailbroke iPhone 4 today, also iso 6.0.1.
You need to carefully download the correct firmware. Aware that it would take around an hour to downlaod firmware 6.0 because in size it's 880 mg.
And don't downlaod firmware from anywhere, you might mess up your phone, you need firmaware specifically for iPhone 4 not iPod or iPad.
Jailbreakme.com doesn't have the jailbreak for 6.0.1 firmware yet.

- Why can't' I download IOS 6.1.2 IPSW file I'm trying to downgrade my iphone from IOS 6.1.3 to 6.1.2 but whenever I try to download a IPSW file instead of downloading it opens up another tab that loads forever or it will make it seem like its going to download but instead it makes the screen loads forever also. I've seen other people download IOS IPSW files without any problems but when I do it I get a screen that loads endlessly. I'm trying to jailbreak my phone but first I need to downgrade it.
