Why can't i hear anything on my stereo?

I have an AVH-X3800BT car stereo, and when i make a call, they can hear me through my microphone, but there's nothing coming through the speakers, when i switch it to be back on my iphone 8, it works perfectly, when not conntected to stereo. Is it possibly the parking break wire?

Bluetooth hands-free only plays through the front speaker outputs. It sounds like your front speaker outputs aren't connected to anything. This happens often in newer Chrysler vehicles with factory amplifiers, when the adapter harness isn't wired correctly, but there are other ways it can happen too.

If you play another music source, and adjust the fader control all the way to the front, do you hear anything?

The "parking BRAKE wire" is to prevent you from watching movies unless the vehicle is parked with the parking BRAKE set. Are you sure private=off on the display during a call?

I still have an iPhone 3GS and recently I have found that whenever I make a call or receive a call, I can't hear the person on the other end, but they can hear me. It doesn't work when it's on speaker or headphones either. But whenever I listen to music or sound from an app I'm hear it fine. I have tried a hard resets and I don't know what to do.
