Why can't I manage my songs on iTunes?

So when I had first started getting songs on my iphone, I did it by downloading mp3s on my computer and putting them on my phone via itunes. At this time, I could do this such as change the names of the songs, arrange the order of a playlist, and drag the mp3 right into the spot on the playlist i wanted. I then recently got a new computer and now i can't edit any song info, arrange playlists, ect. I can only now copy and paste the mp3 into the playlist but once it is in i can't move it or remove any. If i try to edit a playlist directly from my phone it simply goes back to the order it was in and doesn't work. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

It doesn't work accurately straight from the iPhone like that with this iTunes. It won't sync correctly. Just do the playlists and stuff in the iTunes library then drag/sync it to your iPhone

  • Why is there no manage tab in cydia? I tried jailbreaking my iphone 5s(iso 7.1.2) but after installing cydia(which I installed from Pangu) there's no "manage tab", instead it is replace to "installed tab". Did I install wrongly?
  • IPhone - Manually manage music, new computer? So, I just got a new computer, installed the latest version of iTunes, plug in my iPhone and want to manually add a couple of songs. In order to do that, I have to select the "manually manage music and videos" option in iTunes, otherwise, I can't drag and drop songs into my iPhone. However, in order to do that, iTunes seems to REQUIRE me to wipe all current songs on my iPhone before I can enable the option to manually manage music. Is there any way around this?
