Why can't I see my updates on iphone/tablet when I change my html in ftp?

Clearly I'm lost in the sauce.

But I'm learning and I'm running into a problem.

I'm updating an html file and updating it in FileZilla.

When I check on my cell phone (dolphin and chrome mobile browser) it works just fine. When I check on my pc browsers (Chrome, explorer, firefox), again, all my updates are there.

When iphone users check, it looks like it did months ago. Granted, what i looked like before I started working on this website for my friend.

Any clue as to why? Please point me in the right direction.

Surely the new code is not compatible on the IOS

You need to refresh the source of the server as browsers like to do something really annoying called caching, this is where they store parts of a page in order to make them load quicker next time.

Either refresh from source or delete all browser history and anything else that the mobile browser lets you clear.

The answer that it is because the source code is not iOS compatible is RIDICULOUS as any broswer has the capability of reading HTML/CSS even if it is now HTML5 you would still see changes but they may not be displayed correctly.

  • Why won't the Apple store allow me to see my updates? I have an iPhone 3GS on iOS 6.1.2, and I'm having trouble with the app store. I can download new apps, and I can see the red number 4, letting me know that I have 4 new updates. However, the updates section stays blank and will not show me what apps need to be updated! What do I do! Is anyone else having this problem!
  • Why aren't all websites HTML yet? It is so annoying how whenever I try watch something on my PS4 or iPhone, the "Flash Player Required" sign comes up!
  • What are some good ftp MMORPG games? What are some good free to play MMORPG games on PC? And if so what's are some good RPG games on iphone? (Free or Paid)
  • Tablet snapshots on the Tablet and iPhone? I'm not very tech-savvy guy, go please forgive me. But does a Samsung note 10.1-the 2013- snapshot consume more memory space than a iPhone 4 in general? Here are the dimensions(again I do not know what I'm doing) Tablet(Note) 10.1" widescreen 1280x800 WXGA TFT LCD 149 pixels per inch (ppi) iPhone 4 640 x 960 pixels, 3.5 inches (~330 ppi)
