Why can't I send texts to non apple products?
I got a new iPhone 6 a few weeks ago and haven't had any problems with it. Until a few days ago. I discovered that when I try to send a text to a non Apple product, no one receives it. At first, I thought nothing of it because it only happened to one number (my first text to a non Apple product.) But when I try to send a text to a different non Apple product, it doesn't work! Nothing pops up but the "not delivered" message next to my text. IIm guessing it's my phone because people I know don't have this problem.
Do a factory reset of the phone and see if the problem persists.

Go into recovery mode FIRST b4 doing a factory reset. In recovery mode go to wipe cache partison.
It probably is imessage, set all the non-apple contacts to non-apple…
I'd contact your carrier about that. You can of course text any phone regardless of if it is an iPhone or not
What did your carrier tell you?
- Why won't my iPhone send messages to non-iPhone users? I've had my iPhone 4 for a while now, I go through Virgin Mobile. I've never had problems until recently, but it's really strange. I can text certain people with non-iPhones, but some I get an error. I can receive theirs always. Any resolutions? I have changed the contact from iPhone to just mobile… Still doesn't do the trick. I have turned off MMS. No such luck.
- Why won't my 5c send a message as MMS when it's a long message to a non iPhone user? Whenever I type a LONG message to an SMS user (says Text Message in the messaging "box") my 5c won't convert to MMS and the recipient gets the message in dozens of out of order messages instead of the whole fluid message. I have MMS on in Settings. What can I do and why is it doing this?
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- Why can't you use adobe flash on apple products? I love my iPhone and iPad but when it comes to getting an actual computer/laptop I want NO limits! And I'm having trouble viewing Rachael ray cooking videos from my iPad bc they use adobe flash… How can I get around this problem? Or can I simply not watch her videos or any others using adobe?
