Why can't I tag people in tweets from iPhone?
When I'm using my iphone 4, I go into my camera roll and select a picture to tweet. I tweet it (not with the app, just directly from the camera roll), but when I try to tag a twitter user in the tweet (using the @ sign) no one shows up in the drop down list, or only a handful of people do and never the person I want to tag… So I have to know the persons full twitter handle which I don't always know. How can I resolve this? Why do only certain people show up for me to tag and not the person I want?
Added (1). Thank you Duncan… Question though… The people that do show up when I hit the @ sign are not people I have in my contacts list on my phone (I'm assuming you mean my phone contact list).Am I missing something here?
The names need to be stored in the Contacts app otherwise the iPhone will not know about them. Only the people listed in Contacts are showing up.
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why isn't my timeline on the twitter app showing everyone's tweets? Many people have tweeted and it doesn't show up on my twitter for iphone app. I know they are tweeting because it shows up on the computer. This just started happening a few days ago. I reinstalled the app and it showed them all, but when i closed it and reopened it later, it went back to showing less tweets. That also happens when i logout and login.
- On my twitter I can't see some of my followers tweets on my timeline. Why? I could only see them if I go to there profile. And yes there following me back. Could it be a bug? I'm using the iPhone 5, twitter update 5.10.1
- IMessage: Why no delivered tag? Sometimes I use my iPhone to text another iPhone in which case it says "delivered". But what happens to a text when you know you are texting another iPhone but it does NOT say "delivered"? Did it go through anyway? Is the person's phone off? Will then get the message when they turn their phone back on? I just want to seem like an idiot and send the text again if they have already received it.
