Why can't mexicans afford iphones?

I don't know a single Mexican with iPhone, just they have ipods

Stereotypes are great aren't they? Such a massive time saver for everyone. It's great to be able to know everything I need to know about a person solely based on their nationality or ethnicity.

That's right - all Mexicans are too poor to own an iPhone.

Questions like this play right into the rest of the world's stereotype of Americans. (d'oh!)

I would engage you in a battle of whits but you seem so woefully unarmed. Do you happen to know Carlos Slim Helu and if so which I doubt. Do you then know how much money he made from his communications interests in Mexico alone. OMFG

You obviously have travelled extensively through every city and state that you formed such an accurate statement in you question.Wow! I have been visiting all around Mexico for 40 years and still don't know them ALL.
The fact is you have never even been there.

I seen some with smartphones where I live.

  • Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
  • Why do people say they can't afford iphones? My mom has been jobless for many years and my dad is stuck at a dead end job and they still manage to buy me expensive smartphones, expensive brand clothes, etc. I even have 2 computers. And i'm not spoiled because i will get a good job in the future and pay them back, but if i can afford it, then most people can afford it.
  • Mexicans: do you send money back to mexico or support relatives there? Why do mexican families expect their adult grown children to now support them? Why do mexican families always complain about how hard life in Mexico is but yet have iPhone 5, satellite TV and coach purses? I'm so confused, my friend is always sending them money and they are living better than he is!
  • I can't afford an iPhone, should I get an iPod? I need a new phone and I really want an iPhone but they are too expensive! Should I get an iPod and a Samsung galaxy ace 2 or something else? Please suggest me good (cheaper than iPhone) phones. I really want the new Samsung galaxy S3, but that's even more expensive than the iPhone -.
