Why can't my iPhone 5 locate my home Wi-Fi network?
My iPhone has been automatically connecting to my home Wi-Fi network for months, but a couple days ago it stopped and my home Wi-Fi network does not even appear in available networks any longer. Four networks appear and they are all nearby neighbors. Yes, my home Wi-Fi is up and working fine and I'm sitting right next to it. Any ideas? I have already tried turning off and back on again.
You should reset all settings of your iPhone. If it does not help that carry telephone to the service center. Maybe you have a serious breakdown and reset can't help.
Have you tried explicitly typing the name of your home network? If it's hidden, it won't show on the list, although I'm not sure why it would suddenly be hidden unless you changed a wi-fi parameter on your network.
- Why won't my iPhone connect to my home network? It's connected before today but my mom had people come in and fix it because when she would connect to it, the router messes up and no one was able to use the internet. Now I can use my desktop at the same time she uses her wireless connected laptop. But my iPhone won't join the network and neither will my other laptop.
- Why can't itunes locate my songs? So I just downloaded a bunch of songs from youtube & right when I was gonna put them on my iphone itunes said it couldn't locate any of the songs? I have no idea where to find them!
- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
