Why can't my iphone connect to itunes through Wi-Fi?
It connects to itunes only if i have it plugged directly into the computer.isn't it supposed to also connect to itunes through Wi-Fi without the cord? My iphone is currently connected to Wi-Fi too
You have to plug in via USB, open iTunes, go to the iPhone page, and check the box that says "allow this device to connect via Wi-Fi.
Then, the next time you want to sync your iPhone to iTunes, sit down at your desktop, open iTunes, open iPhone column and hit sync. It will sync wirelessly.
Just a note, you can't command the phone to sync from the phone, you must initiate the command from the desktop.
Also, if your phone's screen it off (black), iTunes will never connect to the phone wirelessly
