Why can't my iPhone download files from Safari?
I have a iPhone 5 and i can't seem to download files from Safari. I can download apps from the app store. Does Safari even support file downloads?
How do I download from Safari? Via apps?
Most if not all smart phones don't support file downloads without extra software.
There are apps to download files with iDevices, like iDownloader, D/L all etc
If you really want safari to download files, you'll have to jailbreak
Go to the app store and search for: Browser Download.
You will get a long list of apps with download capability.
