Why can't I open a webpage?

I have an iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2 installed on it.
One day I tried open webpage but Safari gives me this error: Safari can't open the page because your iPhone is not connected to the internet.
But actually my iPhone is connected and even the Wi-Fi sign is right in status bar.
But can't figure out what the problem is.
Please help me out here.

When I click the thumbnail in our conversation, it says loading and the top labels it as "img_(number).jpg". The only way I can see the picture is by saving it to my camera roll.   • Why can't I open my text messages? I have an iPhone 4s and I can't open the message app. Like it pulls up but its just a blank screen then it closes and goes back to the home screen. I've restarted it 3 times and nothing happens. I can receive the text, like it sends me a notification but I can't open the app.
