Why can't an iPhone be one of the free ObamaPhones?

So when i went to apply for an obamaphone i noticed that an iPhone isn't one of the options. Why not?

I figure obama phones are a farce of the right since nobody will show me one.

Because those pesky Republicans won't tax the rich more! :/ :.(.

The lifeline benefit program started under President Reagan, and expanded under Bush, so maybe its a gross misnomer to call them Obamaphones? Just saying

Obama is too busy with big government, you know… Stuff like having the IRS abuse their government power and tapping phones lines of the AP and their families included.

  • Why would Sprint text me a link for a free iPhone 5s that is not entirely free? 1. I received a text message from Sprint stating that I qualify for a free iPhone 5s. 2. I called Sprint's 1-800 number and confirmed with them on three separate occasions the phone was free and there would be no change to my bill. 3. They sent me the phone and upon activation tell me that my bill will go up $15 plus tax. Obviously, I returned the phone. The charge would make my bill go up $15 per month plus tax.
  • Why are one of my radios not receiving RBDS and one is? I have a FM transmitter for my iPhone and it happens to transmit the name of the song over RBDS. When I have my cell phone with a radio inside it within about 10 feet of it it picks up the name of the song as well. My other Insignia Tabletop HD radio also has a RBDS (not to confuse with HD) tuner in it. For some reason that radio, even when the antenna is touching the transmitter antenna, does not pull it up. Is there any reason why this happens?
  • Why are free iphone apps not FREE? Every time I click on the icon "free", it wants my credit card info? False advertisement, I hate it. Btw. Any of you know where to find truly free iphone apps?
  • Which one is the most newest iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c and which one should I get? Which one is the most newest? What different and same features do they have? I already have an iPod touch 5. Which one has the fingerprint scanner and slow motion edit video?
