Why can't i jailbreak my iphone 4?

I'm trying to jailbreak my iphone 4 with the redsnow ios 6.01 jailbreak but it won't work i get past all these stage things but then it stops and it says missing playlist i won't use anything but redsnow

They have not worked out a jailbreak for ios6 yet. That I know of
