Why can't I watch videos on my laptop, iphone and ipad?
I love to watch videos on the internet.lately it seems like the videos I watch, (usually youtube, MTV, even videos from yahoo websites) never play consistently. They always stop and it says buffering, and then starts to play and then buffers again. It is very frustrating because a 5 minute video takes 20 minutes to watch. It makes me really angry and impatient.
What could be the problem? Is it the websites themselves? I'm connected through the wireless connection I have at home AT&T DSL, maybe its the provider or the router? I believe MTV uses Adobe Flash and also I was just trying to watch Chef Fabio on yahoo and of course it was buffering then it stopped and displayed "Adobe Flash plugin has crashed" WTF! Maybe I need to install software?
Please help, I also take online classes and I'm required to watch online videos. I can't take this anymore!
Added (1). Also, I'm aware that iphone and ipad do not support Flash. But I still have problems on these devices when watching videos on youtube.
I have the same problem a lot. It's never really gotten to an unbearable point, so I've never tried to fix it. If it isn't that bad, then don't bother going about trying to fix it. If it's as bad as u make it sound, then start by updating all of your software (Java and all that stuff). Maybe you watch videos in a place where your wireless signal is weak. Could be a router problem (I suspect this problem with my issues). I'm no expert, so I suggest asking more informed professionals. There will always be people who know how to fix these sorts of things. Maybe talk to your provider and have someone come out if you're lead to believe that might help you. - Why can't i watch HD videos on my iPhone 5s? I recently got this phone and moved into Verizon. When i went on youtube i tried watching videos on HD and it wouldnt let me. Is this a verizon network thing or is it the phone its self?
- Why can't I watch videos taken with my iPhone on my computer? I took some videos today with my iPhone 4s and I tried to watch them on my computer but it doesn't work. When I click on it, it just shows a black screen but I can still hear the sound. I tried to delete my quicktime and download the new version but nothing changed. I've also tried to watch the videos on iTunes but there wasn't any difference. I don't have a Mac by the way.
- Why can't I watch videos on my iPhone using my home Wi-Fi? I can do anything on my iPhone, except watch videos when i use my home Wi-Fi. I use to be able to watch videos, and this only just started happening a few days ago. I thought it might be flash player or something, but I can watch videos using other Wi-Fi. I'm not sure that its my Wi-Fi, because I tried watching videos on my old iPod touch, and I could. I have an iphone 4 (not 4s) and help would be appreciated.
- WHY CAN'T I WATCH VIDEOS ON MY IPHONE, I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE I downloaded the new YouTube app from google. On my old iPod touch the videos would load fine but on my new iPhone they won't even play 10 seconds before it freezes and won't play! I reload the video and app and it still won't play, I even deleted it and installed it 10 times and still the same problem! Please help I really don't know what to do (plus these videos are checked to be able to watch on mobile devices)!
