Why did my text messages disappear after I turned my iphone back on after it it had been powered down for the night?
Okay, so I'm new to iphone this is my first one and it's the iphone6. Last night I powered it down for the night, and when I woke up a d turned it back on and unlocked the lock screen and went to my home screen it said I had two text messages and before I could click on it they disappeared. So where did they go and is there any way to find them?
The banners across the screen are just "alert" messages to let you know something needs attention. They vanish once you do anything.
Touch the green & white "Messages" icon and you should see any text messages.
If you have any other message apps like skype or whatsapp, the message could be in those - or in your email
Whichever it is should have a small red circle with a number in it, showing in the corner of the app that needs attention.
- Why won't read messages disappear from my notifications tab? I've had the iPhone 6s for exactly two weeks now, and I'm continuously having this problem. One or two random texts messages a week won't disappear from my notifications tab, even after I read it. I click remove, it stays. I slide to the left and click the x or reply, and it's still there. After I turn the phone off and on it goes away, but I don't want to have to keep doing that. Any suggestions? Is this happening to anyone else?
- Why did the iPhone update add back a contact/contacts I had deleted? Pretty irritating to see a person show up in my contacts whom I deleted over 6 months ago. A name and face I don't want to see. I mean I deleted the pictures and everything yet I just found that his pic and all his contact info was in there. Is it just a glitch where it did a restore from 7 months ago for some odd reason!
- Why did some of my recent notes disappear? About 3 or 4 of my most recent notes have completely disappeared from my iPhone. In settings notes in iCloud are turned off. It's really freaking me
- Why did my iPhone photos suddenly disappear? I was using my phone and opened the photo app. Instead of my 1,000 photos being there, I only have 33. I restarted my phone and it didn't work. Any explanations please As soon as possible?!
