Why do Apple exchange iPhones with out purchases receipts?
My dad broke his iPhone 5 screen and took it to one of the apple shop and they exchange
Why do they do that with out the purchases receipts
There are several reasons
1. Customer service
2. They can tell who the phone is registered to through the phone system
3. They make such a huge profit on every phone they can afford to be generous
4. They don't care if the phone is stolen, and many people have had Apple unlock stolen phones so they can use them.
Because the necessary proof of purchase is already on their system.
- Iphone 4 Read Receipts accuracy? Okay so I have an iPhone 4 with IMessage and I have read Receipts turned on. But I'd like to know how accurate read receipts are. What does it go based off of? How does it know you really read it? I do it a lot with my boyfriend and there are times hell say "you read that like 20 mins ago" even if I just picked up my phone and saw. How accurate is it?
- I'm not receiving any email receipts from itunes I have purchased several apps on my iphone 5 since 5/30 and I have not seen a single receipt sent to my email. It's usually sent to my email about 1 to 3 days after I make a purchase. I have proof I made those purchases since all of them appeared on my itunes account in my purchase history. I have been purchasing these apps on my $25 gift card.
- How to turn off read receipts on iPhone 5? I have had my iPhone 5 for a while now and I don't want iMessage to send read receipts anymore. I went into settings and turned it off, but they continue to appear. I also use iMessage on my laptop, but I have read receipts turned of on that as well. Does anyone know how I can stop these and have my iMessage just say delivered and not let people see when I read them?
- How to tell if a message was read on iPhone with the read receipts off? On an iPhone you have the option to let viewers see if you have read their message or not. Say I I want to know if somebody with another iPhone read my text but they had their read receipts off. How can I get past that and see if that person read the message? Is there am app for it?
