Haha I agree. I guess we use the filters? But for apple i think its better quality pics for some reason, not talking about the hdr part, just the overall quality of apple is good.
Snapchat is not a camera, it's an app. You take photos with your iPhone and post them to Snapchat.
Since the photos are the same, you will look no different if you take an image with a phone and post it to snapchat or Instagram. The only way to have an image look different is to process the image differently.

On my phone, I look gross, blotchily red- and white-faced, every blemish is exaggerated, and my skin looks oily. On my sister's camera, I looked exactly the way I do in a mirror (well/evenly tanned, no extremely noticeable blemishes, not too oily). They're both 1080p, but my phone makes me look a lot worse. Even my really old 480p camera makes me look better than on my iPhone.
