Why do I randomly get sharp pains in my wrists?

Every once in a while I get sharp pains in my wrists right below the back of my hand in the little indented spot where the back of your hand and wrist join. Its not always the same wrist, and it is a sharp shooting pain that lasts about a day when it happens. It usually hurts to the point where I can't even lift small things like school notebooks, my iphone, or even open car doors or turn door knobs. There's no other effects like numbness or pain any where else. I don't play sports or lift weights or do anything really to strain my wrists. Any ideas what this could be?

The muscles in your wrist can tighten up from doing repetitive things, like texting or typing, or they could have been injured before and are first tightening up. To get rid of the pains you have to release the muscles in your wrist to free the nerves of that pressure and here's how to do that release:
Wrist:
With your hand resting in front of you with the palm up press into the area behind the wrist, where they take your pulse and hold a good firm pressure on it. After 30 seconds slowly bend your wrist open as far as you can, release the pressure, but hold your wrist open for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
