Why do iphone 5 cables die fast?
I had 3g, 3gs, 4, 4s, then 5 & now 5s.
I noticed that 8 pin cables ( iphone 5/5s) die fast without any reason!
But old versions like iphone 4 cables seem to last forever.
At home, we're using 7 of Apple devices that use 8 pin cables.
I tried other brands like Belkin and nothing's changed. Again dead 8 pin cable of Belkin.
After searching, I read something about a computer chip in these kinds of cables which means to me that these cables are sensitive.
Am I correct?
The 2nd reason is that the head is slim which means easy to break something even if you don't see it.
The new 5 versions have the new connector, they don't have pins.
