Why do my iphone pictures print weird?

I'm aware that you can take pictures with your iphone and send them to walgreens or cvs, BUT whenever I do, the pictures are really zoomed in, even though thats not how they said it would look when it would print (in the print preview part)
obviously i don't want to use my home printer. And it messes up my usb when i take it in.suggestions? Tips? Should i try another store?

Yes, buy a real camera.

Sorry Molly, this "phone camera" business is like the recent activity regarding instant print cameras of old namely the 50 year old Polaroids (Polaroid went out of business years ago). No instant print camera is going to measure up to today's digital cameras even point & shoots! The same holds true for "phone" cameras. The phone camera is very valuable when some body scraped my painted bumper on my truck. The offender took pictures of the damage which expedited my payment for damages. There has been no activity in phone cameras to indicate that the manufactures are going to improve the quality for usable everyday photo's. Two most import things are lacking in today's phone cameras that would improve quality a larger (physical size that is) sensor and a better quality (and larger physically) lens.

Good Luck!
Now with most consumers wanting smaller and smaller devices you can see why a camera lens and its recording device, the sensor, are taking a back set to this evolution.

  • How to take pictures taken with an iphone and turn print into pictures? Hi- I moved to Brooklyn a few months ago and when I first moved I was really taken aback the scenery of the neighborhood- the architecture, parks and brownstones. So I took lots of pictures. When I painted my apartment, I realized the colors in the pictures would compliment my paint color nicely. Someone told me you can have your pictures blow up into quality prints for frames. I would like to do this soon so I can have my place decorated in time for winter. Any ideas?
