Why do people destroy iPhones on youtube?

Not just iPhones, there are hundreds of videos of people destroying expensive gaming consoles, TVs and other mobile phones. Why would they do that?

They make money out of it. Or at least try making money out of it. Does who usually are the ones to get their hands on a certain phone sooner, will usually do a drop test. They will attract lots of viewers which will result in to more subscription and more advertisement on their channel. That is how they make money, or at least hope to make money. This is valid for all electronic devices. But some are just stupid, such as gaming consoles, because there's no reason behind it, since your device is stationary. Wish I could have helped

What would you do with a broken phone, stolen or one you found that you couldn't use or sell?

  • Will dust destroy my iPhone? I've had an iPhone without a screen sitting in my drawer for a few months. I was meaning to purchase a new screen, but I just noticed it's covered in dust. Would the dust destroy the inside of my iPhone or at least specific components of it? What if I vacuumed the dust out?
  • Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
  • What is a fun way to destroy my iPhone 5? - 2 I have microwaved, drilled, grilled, water tested, car ran over, hammered, and more with my iPhone 5. I get paid to do this on my "TechRax" youtube channel. My question is what can I do next that can awe my audience? Or what would something that would shock you? Just be realistic, not like throwing an iPhone against a wall. I was thinking of maybe a freeze test. Thanks. Deep fry it! That's it!
