Why do people feel the need to rob people?

I live in a decent neighborhood but some people have been robbed and their material things were taken. There's nothing in this world more classeless than taking someone's belongings. I feel like if you rob somebody you deserve to die and have your body spit on and rot in hell. I work hard for everything I have, I go to work, I work hard and earn my money and work hard for my material things. There are a lot of other people like me who have jobs and work hard for the things they have but they lose what they worked hard for because of bums who are too lazy to get jobs. If you want an iPhone how about you get a job, it's not difficult, do something with your life. I have zero respect for people who rob people. Breaking into somebodies house is so pathetic like go out and get a job or just go kill yourself. A guy stealing a woman's purse at gunpoint, somebody needs to just shoot him dead. How pathetic is it to go to a neighborhood across town just cuz you're too lazy to get a job and work hard to get what you want? It just sickens me to my stomach that a person would break into somebodies house or steal their belongings.

Drugs are a major contributing factor in break in robberies. Abusers need money to buy drugs.

If earth is a free planet why do we pay to live? The same reason people rob. It's fun.

It can depend really.

For instance, one reason people steal is because of envy.

People want something the other person has. And they're just that stupid or greedy to steal and rob instead of buying or asking.

Or

Another reason people rob is because it's a last resort.

Maybe they're poor. Maybe they're going to die. Or maybe someone that's poor with them is going to die and they can't do anything about it.

Have they been "Robbed" or "Theft"? Robbery involves person-to-person interaction. Theft doesn't. If robbed, then perhaps they view your neighbors or neighborhood as easy targets. Unfortunately, when the predator goes scouring. It looks for easy prey. Now if theft? Well from experience I know it sucks ASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Believe me, I wish the person who did it suffer in a justifiable way. But like my grandmother told me, "they probably need it more than you". So I look at it this way. Besides, that type of life style never ends up having a good ending.

All they are thinking about is money and drugs and do not care about anything else.
