IPhones are stupid, expensive, and overrated.

I recently had to replace my old iphone-3. This time I got an Android. Glad I did. It works so very much better.

Because, iPhones are very expensive as are all of their products. The most expensive thing there's the iMac Pro, a Gaming Mac that is $5000-$6000. Yeah, if they lowered the price of the iPhone XS to at least $1100 instead of $1200, more people would buy it. Seriously, they must think people are made of money

Some people don't want to have anything to do with Apple's ecosystem. I don't. I don't like the company. They make a ton of money and pay hardly any US taxes. They conspired to raise the price of ebooks everywhere. They seem to have monopolies on things like music videos and Beatles music in digital format. You have to use their pig iTunes to interact with your phone. They can keep it.

They don't want to spend $1000 and more every couple of years just because their friends spend $1000 or more every couple of years because their battery doesn't hold a charge anymore. In the 1950's, we called a device like the iPhone an "electronic brain". There are still a few people who still use their natural brain instead of depending on a phone to do all their thinking for them. By the way, there are some androids that cost less than the iphone and perform just as well, but if you only need a phone to make calls, a sheety android is the best deal, dollar for dollar.

This question takes me back to my first guitar- a cheap knock off. I thought it sounding terrible and I'd never get any music out of it. Then I started taking lessons. My teacher tuned it and played an amazing number on it. Back to the original question; If you have something worth talking about, most any phone will do.
