Why do people put their iPhone opposite when they are not using it? Read details please?

I know my question is silly but trust me i'm curious. My question is why people keep their iPhone opposite way like on the table. I've seen my colleagues, friends and even my teacher who own iPhone they put their iPhone's back screen up i always have this question but feel embarrassed to ask cz i know its really silly i'm showing you the position in the pic just ignore the case of an iPhone. Why only iPhone not any other phone? Is that to show off? Or to show apple's logo? As i'm unable to upload a pic here i'm sharing a link kindly open it and check. Kindly answer me thanks. Your question is based upon only what you've observed. Not all iPhone users lay their phones face down and plenty of non-iPhone users do it as well.

On the iPhone 6 models you've shown there's a very good reason to do so: Apple reused the camera module from the iPhone 5s. But they made the iPhone 6 thinner than the 5s. So the camera lens sticks out by nearly a millimetre from the rear and that means the lens is easily damaged. Adding a protective case thickens the phone overall and removes the need to lay the phone face down.

On many phones, laying then face down automatically puts the phone into silent mode. That doesn't happen with an iPhone but it does stop the screen from turning on until it's picked up so saving battery power.

Face down also provides privacy: if a phone displays messages as they're received then anyone can read them. Face down prevents that. Easier to pick up.

Also easier to ignore the screen for notifications.

Why not other phones? Who knows. IPhones are still pretty popular so maybe it's just everyone who does it just happens to be an iPhone user, not Android or
