Why do people still like and listen to The Beatles?
I can understand why they would be popular during their time in the 60s. They were new then.
But why do young people revere them so much? There were so many other amazing bands that came after them who's music still sounds fresh.
Saying the Beatles were the best band ever is like prefering to use the very first Iphone in 2018 instead of the latest one.
I don't like old grandpa music. The oldest music I would prefer listening to is Guns n Roses.
Added (1). I think people are just brainwashed to like the Beatles because the media keeps telling them that they're ''important''and everybody ''should'' like them.
My favorite band is Coldplay or Radiohead
Because The Beatles make me happy. I'm gonna listen to them now!

It's just an opinion. You may not agree with them, but it's the music they like and enjoy.
Which people? I'm in the UK and we seldom hear any of their music these days.
My Grandsons have never heard of them.
Music today would not be where it is without them. Their music was innovative and far ahead of its time. They are timeless.

I enjoy listen to the beatles, the rolling stones, the doors, the who and all the music from the 60's and also love all other generations and other style.
so why not listen to all music and enjoy life
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why don't people just listen to music on their iphone why buy a ipod? I know some mobile devices aren't good with organizing music but the iphone is good with that so why?
- Why does fewer and fewer people like Iphone, I want to know the real reason? I don't know what reasons make fewer and fewer people like Iphone. My many friends like samsung better. Maybe the Iphone is too expensive
- Why do some people like to act like iPhones and iPads are status symbols? If it were, I mean you'd have the whole lifestyle to keep up. But a lot of people buy them. I'll admit they're both convenient but I find it a little weird to think anything of owning one. (This is in general, and not directed towards how people act to me - just my observation).
