Why do so many people hate on beats by dre?

I paid 350 and the sound quality is amazing on my iphone 4s. People say they are a waste of money, but the people who say that is because they can't afford them.
The design of the headphones are great so stop hating on them because you know you test them out every time you go to best buy haha.

I got Bose headphones for way less. And that quality is really good to if you ask me

From what I've heard, they are good if you like a lot of bass, but there are better and less expensive options if you are looking for a better overall sound. If you are buying Beats, a portion that is simply for the name. I'm looking on getting a new pair of headphones, but I'm still trying to decide. I can afford a good product, but it doesn't mean I want to throw my money away. More expensive doesn't always equal better.

I bought Beats headphones for $200 last year. Guess what? Those freaking headphones are NOT loud & they don't give clear sound. I would have return them if I had the receipt! Then months later, I bought Skullcandy for $85.99 & those head phones are freaking lout that has bass. Not only that, it has a skull!

Because they charge $350 for them and the sound quality isn't any better than you get out of like an $80 pair of headphones. Their most valuable feature is their logo. Every time I see somebody wearing beats, I assume they're either the type of person who cares way too much about looking cool, or just an idiot who doesn't do their research before making big purchases.
