Why do some people que for hours to buy an Ipad/Iphone but?

They won't give a homeless person a small amount of loose change as they walk by?

What do you mean by que?

Because people are geenrally selfish, and they want the thing thats make them similar to other people, if a group of person have an i phone, then everybody want that, because if not you can be considered as out of the crowd… As regards homeless person, people usually aren't interested in people who are poor, so they won't give the an help…
it is a really sad reality

I think he means queue like waiting in a line
It's cause of the corruption of capitalism

I don't understand why the latest is the bestest, as capitalism likes to ram down our throats.
So I'll suggest this capitalist message is behind why people would queue for hours for such a toy.
People tend to be prejudice, reinforcing the challenge of why give money to the homeless, that they had to work for. 'why don't they get a job' is the cliche of the matter.
Here in the UK, the homeless charities tell you not to give money to beggars, saying they will only spend it on drink and drugs. We have many homeless charities, perhaps the queuing folk make regular donations?

People have no socialising skills any more and so would rather wait by themselves for a gadget that they can stare at 24/7 instead of interacting with other humans…
