Why does everybody in love with iphones?

Android has improved drastically and is now way ahead of iPhone. You can buy a galaxy s3 or a galaxy note for the same price as a little iphone 5… Why are consumers so dumb? Iphones are OK but way overpriced and there's no way to customize them without jailbreaking.

I actually think the same way to an extent. I have an atrix 4g which like many android phones has some amazing features that iphones don't have and was way less expensive. But my family is on the Apple product fad. The reasons I believe apple is so popular is for one is their advertising. They have great advertising (you can't deny everyone knows about apple) and its played out as a stylish exclusive brand even though we know millions of people have Apple products. The second reason is the simplicity. I believe this is why they caught on so well because before the iphone operating systems from other companies such as Palm and Microsoft were pretty much made for the computer geek who had time to figure out how to operate it. The third and my favorite reason for Apples success is that they are almost like a monopoly in a vague way. They produce their own operating systems, physical computers, phones, programs and accessories. So repairs are all the same, they all operate the same. This may sound boring for everything to be the same but it has great benefits for the company especially when they make the only products compatible with them. When an app is released for an iPhone it will work for all iPhones because they are all produced the same exact way. Android and Microsoft do not make their phones however and just give their operating systems to other companies and when apps are produced some must be modified to work on different kinds of phones. This also brings out Androids strengths though to like the different styles, prices, and general performances you can get with an Android. I've found too that Apple products are generally more reliable because they are more mainstream (as in more known even though android sells more). If they weren't it would really hurt their reputation.

Don't be ashamed of what phone you get because a phones a phone why not just try and get a cheaper phone then you can get a cute phone case or you can get something else to
