Why does everyone want an iphone 5?

I honestly don't think apple would be as popular as it is if Steve Jobs was still alive. Like they say, an artist's work is more valuable when they're dead. I think people are just buying the iphone 5 because of that reason, but some people are buying more than 2. Why? Is the technology inside the phone advanced or something? I heard some people buy the phone to take it apart for the useful stuff inside, but why do they do that?

I bought it and its such a waste of money. Don't bother with it. It sucks.

Why would you buy the phone to take it apart? I highly doubt they are doing that no one is that stupid they can just buy the componenants from apple without the casing for less and less work+shipping.

also people are most likely buying 2 because it is something new obviously and when their are new products that are wanted badly people will do anything. And obviously stores don't have infinite supplies thus they run out and need to ship more. Some people buy 2 or more and sell it the day it is released for those that are desperate they usually make more money or lose money in the end.

some buy more then 1 just for a replacement or for family members.

other then that the ONLY way i see people buying an iphone 5 or even wanting one is to brag about it and show it off.face the fact a phone is a phone. You don't fking need fancy 4g bullshet speed to have a phone. The phone was made to call people from long distances not to text not to play games not to browse the internet.those are just features to attract people from buying the product. And idiots will. That is why i no longer have a phone or if i do it's old. I don't buy into the fact i need a fancy phone as thats just stupid and a waste of money. And yes i can afford one does it mean i want too? No because theirs better shet i can spend that money on like school for a better education or bills

Most people want it because they want to show off. All of the people at my school who own an iphone brag, and complain that people who have Androids are poor and losers.

I don't want one.

I'm good with what I have and its a cheap $15 flip phone.
