Why does it take so long to get a iPhone 5?

I preordered last Monday and it came out last Friday… Today is Saturday I will never buy a iPhone again. Apple sucks.

I'm sure that the phone was pre-ordered by lots and lots of people and it will probably take apple a while to send them out.

So many people has pre ordered or stood in line for 2 days to get one.

1. They estimate ship dates, or wait until release date to ship, to prevent people getting it before the street date.
2.It's not an instantaneous trip from their factories to your house.
3. The day's not even half over for a delivery today (provided the delivery method ships on Saturdays).
4. You're one of several million people that ordered it. That means there's that many people also waiting, that have orders that need to be procssed.

Stick with Apple, you're right in line with the average mentality of their users.

How would you like it when you could only make 2 million iPhones when the demand is over 5 million? It's pretty hard to do. You should've waited in line, just like I did. Even though they were all sold out online, they had more in stores than they did online, so I got one on day one.

So many people want iPhones it's not even funny any more. Apple has a LOT of iPhones to make. The estimated time for you is probably Mid October. You should have preordered the first day it was available since its a first come first serve system. You are guaranteed an iPhone but its just going to take some time.

Apple received more than 2 million orders for the iPhone 5 within the first 24 hours of its release. This figure is just the number of orders after the release, not counting the pre orders. And the number has continued steadily over the days. There are millions of people around the world waiting for thwie iphone, so you just have to WAIT. I'm sure it won't take much longer…
