Why does it take so long to sync my iPhone?
It's at step 2 of 4 - Syncing contacts.
It's been loading this for a very long time now.
I had iOS 4.something and it's now updated to iOS7 - if iTunes ever finishes syncing and gives me my phone back!
For updating it will take a long time that's normal,
if your syncing another stuff like ( application, contacts, pix, etc… ) it won't be too late unless if your using a fake USB cable
IOS7 is around 1.5gb in size and it's trying to update your firmware and not mess up your stuff at the same time. Basically--a really really big file that's about 1/8th the size of the phone memory.
For future reference (if you can) ONLY use Wi-Fi when updating to like iOS 7.1 for example. Why? OTA (over the air updates) are honestly just faster. Mine took around 20 mins but I didn't use iTunes either. Don't interrupt it now for fear that it will compromise something. Live and learn, but use Wi-Fi next time.

- Why does the iPhone 4s take so long to update to 7.0.6? I decided to update an iPhone 4s that I just bought the other day to 7.0.6 and it says its going to take 4 hours to update. Is this normal? I've never had an iPhone before so I'm not sure.
- Why does my itunes take so long to import a cd? My iTunes seems to take a very long time to import a small song and when it does import the song is all fuzzy and you can't hear it. My iTunes is up to date and my library is small but some CDs import properly and others don't. Is there anyway I can import this CD to get the songs on my iPhone?
- Why does my iphone take so long to turn on while charging? I have the IPhone 4s, and I have had it for almost 2 years now and i have an upgrade in September but i have a lot of problems right now. My phone dies CONSTANTLY. It dies at 60, 70, 80, 90, even 100% sometimes & on the rare occasions when it does die at a low percentage, it can take anywhere from 2-9 hours to turn on. I just wanted to know if there was a way i can get my IPhone to turn on while charging, I really need help, this happens to much and I'll try anything!
- Why does my iPhone 6 Plus take so long to alert me that I have a voicemail? Someone will call me then 12 hrs later it tell me I have a voicemail I even try to go into phone and hit voicemail but nothing there
